48 Hour Game Development Contest 5
First, I want to thank the particpants. They all worked hard and most came out with great, if a bit incomplete, games. I hope that Stephen Colbert is honored by the games and the hard work that went into them. My only regret regarding the contest is that I wasn't able to make one myself. Perhaps I'll get to work on World of Colbertcraft soon ;-)
Second, I want to thank our sponsors:
Activision,
EA,
Microsoft,
THQ, and
Ed Baraf,
Pete Knepley, and
Dave Ratti. Their donations help to make these contests possible.
Third, I want to thank our judges: Professor John Laird, Professor Brian Winn, and Professor Bruce Maxim. Some came a long way. All took a great deal of care in evaluating the games - a time consuming process.
Fourth, I want to thank my co-organizer, Paul. Our working together made the largest 48 Hour Contest yet the most manageable yet.
Last, but not least, I want to thank Stephen Colbert for being the inspiration for our theme this year.
So, get to playing the games. Have fun!
