Biography

Matt Gilgenbach started programming games in QuickBasic at age 9. He hasn't stopped programming since. While attending U of M, he taught Graphics workshops on programming DirectX, and instructed High School students in Game Development with CampCAEN. After graduating from U of M in 3 years, he interned for Microsoft on the Xbox Software Services Team where he worked on the upcoming product "Xbox Media Center Extender". After that, he got a full time position programming at Heavy Iron Studios where he worked on "The Incredibles", "The Incredibles: Rise of the Underminer", "Spongebob Squarepants: The Movie: The Game" and an unannounced project. He is currently employeed at High Impact Games and is working on "Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters" for the PSP.
