Biography
Professor Williams' research focuses on the economic and social impacts of new media technologies. His most recent work has involved video games played on the Internet, measuring the effects game play has on communities and individuals. He has been published in the Journal of Communication, the Journal of Broadcasting and Electronic Media, the International Journal on Media Management, and Information, Communication & Society.
Starting in the Fall of 2004, Dmitri is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Speech Communication at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
