Entry for the 2004 Wolverine Soft Game Development Contest Extravaganza!
Theme: Freedom.

After the invasion of Earth, only a few people are left and their freedom won't exist if they don't get away to some new planet. You are the leader of these people and to get them to freedom, you gather the remaining humans, get them in an airship and head to a new area where they can have their freedom. You run into an asteroid shower. Your ship is a strong one so if you crash into one of the asteroids you and your people will live, but Freedom Ship will no longer be in flying condition - it'll land you on the nearest landable area. You want to last as long as you can without crashing into an asteroid because you want to get as far away from Earth as possible. You go at it with brute force and try to shoot all the asteroids out of space but... your guns are down. Avoid the asteroids for as long as you can!

Controls - Arrow Keys to manuever the ship

Freedom Ship was made using SDL.
Drawing Bored

Pitch
You spend all morning bored in class. Sketching out your dreams, nightmares and everything in between. But what happens to those class drawings when you fall asleep? When you close your notebook? When you throw them out? Hmm, nothing most likely... Right? Or maybe they're busy trying to wipe eachother out! In "Drawing Bored" you play as a pencil-drawn character trying to feed ammo to all his pencil-drawn enemies. Based off of the arcade game Smash TV, this is a top-down, action-packed game where your objective is simply to destroy everything in your path. Use the left analog stick on your XBox Gamepad to maneuver the hero and the right analog stick to aim and shoot at your enemies.
