Good article. It's always been hard to rely on such reviews so I tend to read several different reviews before purchasing a game. I haven't been disappointed by a game I purchased in a long time mainly because I do my research - but not everyone has that kind of time. Therefore, it's essential that these reviewers do their job as objectively as possible which unfortunately, as you stated, is not always the case.
