The problem with it is that it is marketed exclusively to kids, as opposed to a game like Mario which is kid friendly but doesn't really drive away adults. As for the Game Sales Stats page, none of the links work. However, in the email you sent out they did for some reason. I dont entirely trust that list, because there is a total absence of games for the Atari, and I am pretty sure that "Combat" for the Atari is one of the best selling games of all time. It was a pack in game like Super Mario Bros. and Atari sold quite a few machines back in the day.

Ok, I fixed that link somewhat. Also, if you doubt that list, search Wikipedia for "List of best-selling computer and video games". The numbers are a little bit different but the overall trends/patterns hold.
